QOLANSA MINERALS & MINING PLC LAUNCHES 16-DEPARTMENT INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION, RESHAPING ETHIOPIA’S ECONOMIC FUTURE

QOLANSA MINERALS & MINING PLC has officially announced a bold, integrated expansion across sixteen strategic departments, positioning the company as one of Ethiopia’s most diversified and fast-rising industrial conglomerates.

Operating across the Adola–Guji mineral belt and key agricultural corridors, QOLANSA’s new structure aligns mining, agriculture, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and global trade under one coordinated corporate architecture.

The expansion includes major mining divisions such as Gold Mining, Tantalum, Graphite, Dolomite, Precious Gemstones, and Semi-Precious Gemstones — units expected to significantly enhance Ethiopia’s mineral export value.

QOLANSA has also strengthened its agricultural and export portfolio through the Coffee Plantation, Coffee Processing Factory, Oilseeds & Field Crops, Livestock, and Honey Production departments. These sectors are designed to support regional food security, high-value exports, and rural employment.

In infrastructure and industrial services, QOLANSA is launching a Construction Department and a Machinery & Heavy Equipment Department, supplying earth-moving machinery and executing national construction projects.

Additionally, the company is entering the service sector with dedicated Hospitality and Tourism & Travel divisions aimed at leveraging Ethiopia’s cultural and natural attractions.

According to the Group CEO, the expansion represents “a disciplined, future-driven model where mining, agriculture, construction, and services operate as one industrial engine.” He emphasised QOLANSA’s commitment to job creation, technology transfer, and international competitiveness.
